An accomplished large scale sampler by Mary John who was 10 years old at the time of completion. With Berlin Woolwork motifs including a sweet little cat perched on a cushion, a sailing boat, animals, birds and figures all surrounded by a meandering boarder. 
Good condition with vivid threads and in the original maple frame.
