c. Title and risk in the goods pass to the buyer upon collection by the appointed courier or upon transfer of the goods to the courier for dispatch.
d. All costs and risks associated with packing, shipping, and insurance remain the responsibility of the buyer.
2. Shipping included in purchase price
a. Where shipping has been agreed as included, Mary Swallow Antiques will arrange appropriate packing, insurance, and delivery.

RETURNS POLICY
Due to the nature of antique and vintage items, all goods are sold as seen and described. Condition reports and images are provided to the best of our ability, and buyers are encouraged to request further information prior to purchase.
3. Right to cancel (distance sales)
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, private buyers purchasing at a distance (including online, via email or telephone) have the right to cancel their order within 14 days of receipt of the goods.
The buyer must notify Mary Swallow Antiques of their intention to cancel within this period. The goods must then be returned within a further 14 days.
4. Returns
Where a return is made under the above right to cancel, the buyer is responsible for arranging and paying for the safe return of the goods to an address provided by Mary Swallow Antiques. All items must be professionally packed to ensure safe transit.
5. Return shipping arranged by Mary Swallow Antiques
If requested, Mary Swallow Antiques can arrange professional packing, insurance, and return shipping. Where the cost of these services is less than the original purchase price, such costs, together with a 10% handling fee, will be deducted from the refund.
6. Insurance
The buyer must insure the goods for their full purchase value whilst in their possession and during return transit. Proof of insurance must be provided prior to dispatch.
Failure to insure the goods constitutes acceptance of full liability by the buyer for any loss or damage occurring whilst the goods are in their possession or in transit.
7. Condition of returned goods
All goods must be returned in the same condition as supplied.
Where goods are returned in a different condition, Mary Swallow Antiques reserves the right to:
a. Deduct the cost of restoration required to return the goods to their original condition (a full breakdown will be provided);
b. Apply a reduction in value reflecting damage or restoration;
c. Refuse a refund where goods are returned in a condition deemed beyond economical repair. In such cases, the buyer must seek recovery through their insurer.
For clarification on any of the above, please contact Mary Swallow Antiques prior to purchase.
