A rare three panel Arts & Crafts folding screen, with dual sided decoration. One side presents painted figures of three angels, robed and haloed, each playing a musical instrument, imagery deeply rooted in the medieval and spiritual revival of the period. The reverse features embroidered panels with stylised phoenixes among flowers, their flowing plumage symbolising renewal and immortality.
