A wonderfully decorative large vintage model of a trout, hand-painted with a characterful spotted finish and retaining a beautifully aged surface with craquelure and areas of wear.
Measuring an impressive 113 cm in length, the fish has wonderful presence and makes an unusual piece of sporting or country-house decoration. Two original metal loops to the upper edge allow it to be easily wall hung.
A particularly striking decorative object, and increasingly difficult to find in this substantial size.
Dimensions: 113 × 36 cm
Condition: Good vintage condition with age-related wear, losses and craquelure to the painted surface, all contributing to its character.
